YOU can help our Science Department build resources!  How?  Adopt-A-Slide!

Saunders’ Science Department wants to expand the microscopic aspect of its courses
by purchasing new slides for the students to study.
What’s in it for You?
Besides increasing the knowledge of the students and bettering our school, you will also receive a trout with your last name on it in our bulletin-board river ecosystem!. If we fill the river, we can buy all the slides we need!

Saunders Middle School is very proud to announce that our own Joyce Lewis, 8th grade Language Arts teacher was named the Dale City MIDDLE SCHOOL TEACHER OF THE YEAR.

ADDITIONAL ACTIVITY BUSES
The students and staff at Saunders send out a SUPER SPARTAN THANK YOU to our STUPENDOUSLY SUPPORTIVE PTSO! Thanks to their support, we will offer ADDITIONAL activity buses on Wednesdays and Thursdays at 4:15 beginning NOV. 6!  We appreciate our PTSO's commitment to ensuring success for all students at Saunders.   As of Nov 6, after school activity buses will run on Wednesday/Thursday at 4:15 PM AND on Tuesday/Thursday at 5:15 PM.

Registration Information for New Students
If you are new to the Saunders Middle School area and need to enroll your child, please call our Registrar, Mrs. Wilcher, at 703-670-9188 and schedule an appointment.  The enrollment packet can be downloaded here.  Having the paper work completed prior to your appointment will reduce the time it takes to enroll your child.
